Abstract

A broader view of the model of real-time choice, based on the abstraction that a need is a type of concern. The article describes the conceptual metaphor and graphical abstraction called "The Compass of Choice". This knowledge asset is used to analyze different decision-making scenarios, including the Clinical Process of Medicine, and Information Technology Consultancy. Information modelling principles support the proposal that given the current state of the planet Earth, Human Rights should be balanced by the guiding concern of a Declaration of Responsibility - the principled pursuit of sustainable satisfaction.
