Abstract

Mosaic Provenance reports about the provenance of the Design for the Mosaic Web Open Knowledge Initiative. It helps to demonstrate that the Mosaic Web Design was traceably derived using proven approaches from evidence-based domains. The traceable nature of the derivation supports ongoing improvement of the Design, based on feedback from open peer review.

Mosaic Descriptions
Description
Mosaic Descriptions is a Case Study Report about the first modelling prototype to be given the name "Open Knowledge Reference Model" (OKRM). The 202002 Prototype PatternBank was produced during a review of the Taxonomic Hierarchy of Biology. That work included visualisation of the real-world collection, management, and reporting of taxonomic data. The scenario describes a distributed datastore of scientific observations, reported in real-time by unique individual observers from around the world. Analysis of this scenario produced a modelling component which absorbs, stores, and emits messages. The domain mappings supported the approximation of any unique individual living organism to a needy, risk-sensitive, information processing system.

Mosaic Messaging
Description
Mosaic Messaging is a Case Study Report about the document Mapping Concepts to Perspectives ("MCP"). Written in mid-April 2020, MCP was custom-built for the realm of Healthcare. MCP used knowledge assets to provide learning support in a real-world scenario. The work and findings contributed towards Not in the Stars and several other documents. This Case Study establishes the origin and provenance of the Compass of Choice knowledeg asset.

Mosaic Packings
Description
Mosaic Packings is a Case Study Report about the 202107 Inventory Prototype - the first to use Design Decisions to describe the Open Knowledge Reference Model (OKRM) and its applications. The Prototype was built as a checklist/architecture description of modelling components, and can be used to explore various pattern-based modelling concepts.

Mosaic Associations
Description
Mosaic Associations reports about the "Stovepipe Knowledgebase" concept featured in Reframing Tomorrow, and its proposed Remedy the “Open Knowledge Reference Model” (OKRM). These observations were built using proven patterns belonging to the Systems Engineering Body of Knowledge. Those patterns came from a self-organising, global-scale Quality-of-Service (QoS) Improvement Initiative. The success of these QoS approaches is evidenced by modern information-enabled devices of all kinds.

Mosaic Milestones
Description
Mosaic Milestones lists key products/deliverables of the research work in the form of the Milestones Report (/.MiSTx). It supplements Mosaic Provenance with a graphical representation of the sequencing of the deliverables. It supplements Tesserae FoR 20221111 by providing a list of recent deliverables. The Milestones Report will feature in several Case Studies about Reporting and the History pattern.
