Online, Wednesday April 15–Thursday April 16 2026
The American Political Science Association (APSA) is pleased to announce that the 2026 Virtual Research Meeting will be held on April 15 & 16, 2026! This annual two-day online event provides a forum for scholars worldwide interested in sharing their research, receiving in-depth feedback, and creating partnerships and networks for future collaboration.
The virtual conference will examine how political science research adapts to, thrives in, and critically engages with the virtual landscape. The program committee invites panel, paper, and research group proposals for this collaborative online conference, welcoming contributions from scholars across the discipline, regardless of whether their research directly involves virtual components.
We are excited to welcome political science scholars from all subfields and career stages at our third annual virtual meeting. This 100% online event will feature opportunities to attend intensive research workshops and engage with plenary panels that highlight this year’s meeting theme, “Collaboration in Times of Crisis: Polarization, Populism, and Political Science in a Changing World.”
