Building a preprint community as a scholarly society: a case study of APSA Preprints

Abstract

The first version of this poster was presented at the APSA Annual Conference 2021, and covered the benefits of sharing early research via preprints, with usage statistics, user feedback and case studies from APSA Preprints, the American Political Science Association's preprint service. The second version was presented at the Society of Scholarly Publishing meeting in June 2022, and was expanded to include considerations for scholarly societies.
